Welcome to Pride Manitoulin — where community, celebration, and connection meet on beautiful Mnidoo Mnising (Manitoulin Island). Each year, we gather in joy and solidarity to honour 2SLGBTQ+ identities across the Island. Our events are inclusive, family-friendly, Indigenous-affirming, and rooted in both resistance and celebration.
Pride Manitoulin is a not-for-profit, community-driven celebration of 2SLGBTQ+ identities rooted in the lands and waters of Mnidoo Mnising (Manitoulin Island). Since 2017, our Pride festival has grown into a vibrant expression of queer joy, culture, and connection across our island communities.
Sponsored and organized by the Sex and Gender Diversity Program at Mnaamodzawin Health Services Inc., Pride Manitoulin is supported by a passionate and dedicated volunteer organizing committee. Together, we work year-round to create safe, welcoming, and empowering spaces for Two-Spirit, queer, trans, and gender-diverse individuals and their families.
Our events are thoughtfully designed to weave together culture, creativity, advocacy, and celebration — from music and art to ceremony and education. Each gathering is welcoming to people of all ages, genders, sexualities, and backgrounds.
Rooted in equity and guided by Indigenous values of respect and relationality, Pride Manitoulin is more than a festival — it's a movement for belonging, healing, and joy.
